How to Inject Peptides: Complete Guide

Supplies You'll Need

Reconstitution Steps

  1. Remove peptide vial and bacteriostatic water from refrigerator
  2. Wipe both vial tops with alcohol swab
  3. Draw appropriate amount of bacteriostatic water (typically 2mL for 5mg vial)
  4. Slowly inject water into peptide vial, aiming at the side wall
  5. Gently swirl to dissolve – do not shake
  6. Store reconstituted peptide in refrigerator

Injection Steps

  1. Wash hands thoroughly
  2. Wipe injection site with alcohol swab
  3. Draw prescribed amount into syringe
  4. Pinch skin and insert needle at 45-90 degree angle
  5. Inject slowly and steadily
